TECHNICAL OBSERVATIONS:
The very new MARS 50 uses the tried and tested straight line guides system that AFLB CORPORATION has applied to the most prestigious bending machines. With this system extreme stiffness of moving parts can be obtained when processing profiles that are particularly malleable. 

The machine geometry makes it possible to obtain coils with very reduced radii. The calibratorroll maintains the quality of the bend even when working on materials of poor manufacture. With the new MARS 50, for the first time, a bending machine is presented that is completely driven by “brushless” servomotors, giving a precision, repeatability and speed that has never been obtained before, offering with this machine the first real solution to obtain coils with counter-bends and coil restraint in a single pass with no need to re-pass.

The overall power installed is equivalent to that of decidedly more powerful machines. In spite of this, MARS 50 can be defined as a bending machine “energetically efficient and innovative”, permitting a considerable saving of energy thanks to the application of “brushless” servomotors, that limit the energy input exclusively to the working stages under load. 

The second advantage of the MARS 50 is the control software applied to the bending machine, permitting completely automatic management of all the machine axes. Interpolating several axes simultaneously, the BENDING PROFESSIONAL software can obtain any type of coil rapidly and precisely, with no waste of material, managing in automatic mode both the counter-bends and the pitch of the coils.

Furthermore, the automatic management of the coupling eliminates any straight sections between coil and counter-bend. These characteristics permit an immediate investment recovery for the Customer and guarantee processing of a superior quality that until now has only been possible with more expensive machine tools of much larger dimensions.
